Charles Sayers writes across genres, blending elements of comedy, mystery, horror, and the fantastical to explore the humor and humanity that emerge when people collide with the unexpected. His fiction often centers on outsiders attempting to navigate strange worlds that refuse to behave as expected. His short fiction has earned recognition from Writers of the Future, Writing Battle, and the AutoCrit Annual Writing Challenge. His upcoming novels include The Cavendish Code, a comedic mystery; Soul Eater: Maurepas, a southern gothic horror; and Boise City, a historical mystery rooted in real events. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Julie, and their Goldendoodle, Baxter.
